2006 SL 500

Side mirror toggle switch

Hello,
My side mirror toggle switch is broken in my 06 sl500. Question is do i have to buy the entire CONVERTIBLE ROOF & MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH MODULE or can I replace the toggle switch only?

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, unless you can find someone selling just that piece pull from car, then you will have the buy the entire assembly. Is it the D-Pad that is broken or the left-right mirror selector? If it's the selector switch, you might be able to take it apart and do a DIY fix.

The part that isn't working is the pad or joystick looking device.

Oh, so it;s the D-pad. Yeah, that's a coommon parts to break off. The same info applies - it's not a separate part, unless you find someone selling a used one.
