I'd suggest you hold onto your old pump. When they fail, it's usually just the brushes that have worn out and they are easy to replace. When you open the pump to have a look at the condition of the brushes,it'll be obvious if it was a wear problem as the offending brush will be worn away. You can then replace the brushes for pennies and put the pump on the shelf for the future.

Yes it's on the same cooling circuit as the engine from the factory

Thanks for the info, I was wondering if my pump was strong or weak. I still thinkni might have a valve block that suspect.
I have a leak on the top of the valve cove on the driver side I need to address. Part of the deal of buying a used car that sat in a garage most it's life
thanks again for the info on the pump

Valve (head) cover leaks are pretty common on the M113 engine. Just be sure to use genuine MBZ gaskets. I think all of the aftermarket gaskets are made by Victor Reinz and they are not thick enough and will leak right away.

Rebuilt the front valve block today, has a driver side front slow drop over night. After putting back together and replacing the lost fluid, when I start the car and put it in drive the passenger side front drops and the red indicator of the car is to low comes on. Did multiple raising and lowering cycles and no improvement. As soon as the car is turned off the car levels and good, put it in drive and it drops the front passenger side.
has anyone experienced this or have any advice. This is the only discrepancy with the car for now.
Thanks Eric

Yep, it was the blue and green solenoid connections that were crossed. Everything functions as it should now thank you carguyshu.
Hope this rebuild kit lasts for a while. Has fresh fluid should be good for another 30,000 miles.

It says Vario-Roof on mine, not hardtop when I open and close. Interesting
Also noticed your 20-60 took 4+ seconds and you're driving in C mode(Rain Snow).. S is for Standard not Sport. So you're starting in the wrong gear.
Also I was under the impression ABC sport just removed more body roll, doesn't firm suspension up..I barley noticed it on and off except on harder corners (60-70 canyons)
