changing abc fluids
had them changed about 4000 miles ago and I drive the car less than 2000 miles a year. So every fall i drain the tank and fill it with new fluid. good idea or not thanks

But you also need to factor in time as the rubber seals the diaphragms in the accumulators and dampeners deteriorate with age. Also, with hydraulic systems, lack of use can be worse than overuse.

We've had this discussion before. The consensus seems to be that what little fluid remains in a few lines and in the struts will quickly be mixed with new fluid and it's not an issue.

If I were to buy a car which still had its original fluid, for one time I would either perform a thorough flush, or I would change the reservoir several times over the course of a week or so.
