Trickle Charger Question
For you folks that leave your car for an extended period of time how do you route the power cord for the trickle charger do you just close the trunk lid on it pinching the power cord ?

I close mine but am carful to move the pigtail around to Keith from leaving a permanent grove in the trunk seal. Also make sure that the cord is not pinched through the cover.

Thanks for the feedback I’ve always had cars where the primary battery was under the front hood and no problem routing the power cord up towards the windshield without pinching

I route mine across to the drivers side (outlet is on that side) and up toward the drivers door where the seals meet and you can route without through that seam. My CTek tender hangs down the side of the car and I put a microfiber towel where the cord would touch the car.

MB should have installed a better solution instead of making us all toil with wires and stuff. Like a second ‘filler door’ with a connector in it.
