Race style Tow Hook Needed. Suggestions??
Hello everyone,
I have been searching the web for a racing style tow hook that fits the 2003 SL500 R230 for the front bumper. The only one I can find at all is the one that comes with the car. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find one or has one that they bought and can help me one that fits that thread size? Maybe they tried one for a different car model and it fit?
Please let me know.

No offense and purely my curiosity but why the hell would you want something ridiculous like that on your car, let alone a mercedes.
Still looks ridiculous on JDM cars IMO
And to answer your question, you won't find a factory 'race' tow hook. Totally an aftermarket JDM thing that's came up in recent years.
I've never seen one on a mercedes and I hope i never have to.
You'll have to jerry rig one without the cover on for fitment.

Because its personal preference.
I was looking for something like this. Its all personal preference you dont need to get all rude about it. The main reason is my cover broke and to get another piece and the eye cover is the same price if not more than a tow hook which my car didnt come with. So i could just kill 2 birds with one stone by getting one instead and not worrying about the stupid cover and matching the color.
