Going to do tranny flush. what do i need to monitor oil temp to 45C

hi all,
just got a 2007 SL550 with 46k miles on it and will do couple things right away like ABC flush, top cover pump flush and transmission flush.
i got all the tools and liquids but i was wondering.. in one of the videos i noticed that when filling up the transmission fluid back into the pan
i need to monitor the temperature of the tranny oil to reach 45 degrees C.
what tool do i need to plug into OBDII where i will be able to see the transmission temp?

thank you all!

STAR DAS software or a thermometer at the oil pan. Why would you do a transmission fluid flush at 46k miles?

thank you but I am looking for a cheap obdii tool I can plug in and read the temp of the fluid.
It is recommended to do a tranny flush ever 40k miles actually.

FYI,
i found what I was looking for at local Walmart.
It’s a Bluetooth OBDII plug and amongst many many other things it does display live transmission oil temp and that will do the trick
btw it was $45 .. yay

NO LONGER ACTIVE
I have verified that pointing an infrared thermometer at the transmission pan gives the same reading (+/-1 degrees) of the sensor being read via SDS.
