I would start by putting the resonator back in and see if that quiets it enough.

Thanks! I was considering doing that, but I wasn't sure which way to go. I love the sound of my exhaust when I am just gently pushing the gas driving around town. It sounds mean as hell slowly getting up to speed, barely pushing the gas pedal. But as soon as I touch the gas a little bit more heavily it sounds obnoxious to me. And not obnoxious like my friend's Lamborghini in Corsa mode, which is obnoxious in a good way, mine just sounds plain obnoxious in general. Hard to explain.. heh

The resonator may take the edge off. If that doesn't work, you know exactly how it will sound with everything back on.

There are advantages to not being loud and attracting attention, especially the attention of the police when you are speeding. The loud noise also gets annoying on after a while, especially on a long trip. Just put the top down, the stock exhaust sounds pretty good to me.
just sayin.

Unless you are changing your 500 by adding cams or Kompressor a larger, more thru flow exhaust is all just for show.

So that being said; If you truly want a better sounding, looking exhaust try a Becker or Top Speed
As most know to make an AMG twin tip fit you’ll have to trim your exhaust-to-bumper gap
Good Luck
