Has anyone used the distronic and a radar detector, especially a V1?

I see on MB's website that the distronic system uses radar to sense the distance between cars. I hope that it uses a band that will not interfere with a radar detector. On the other hand, if it confuses the Highway Patrol's radar, then that may not be such a bad thing.

Anyone know exactly what frequency the distronic system uses?

I can guarantee you that LE radar will not interfere with the distronic system. That would have been Item #1 to cross off the list during initial development of the distronic system. Can you even imagine the legal liability that comes with this territory?
That said, I've not ever read which frequency is being used.

I have distronic on my 03 sl and a v1 no problems no interferance.

I thought it could be a problem, but it is not.
