Looks like a mouse got into the car and chewed on the rear speaker wires. Now I get no sound from my audio. I m thinking the amp went into “safe mode”. Is there a way to check this and correct it?

The amplifier does not have a safe mode.

I would check the fuse for the amplifier located in the rear fuse box behind the left seat. If that is fine and you are sure all wiring is okay, then I would investigate further with Star Diagnosis.

 

Are there any fuses behind the left seat, or was that a slip of the pen?

 

I should have written "right seat".

 

They have been checked and replaced even the one on the amp
