Front differences with facelift version

Hello everyone.
I am thinking to make the front restyling of my SL R230 2006 year. I understand some parts are getting outdated.

1. For example headlights.
My OEM headlights are part numbers: A230 820 78 61 and A230 820 77 61
Features:
- Bixenon
- lamps: W5W, D2S/H7
- With servomotor for regulate the scope of the lights
- With xenon control unit
- For cars with the steering wheel at the left side

Attached a picture of them:

I am interesting in restyling headlights.

But i have realized that there are several part numbers for this kind of headlight and i do not know wich ones are proper for my car.
For example part number: A230 820 28 59 and A230 27 59. Its datasheet is the next one:

In order the electronics and functions of the new headlights be compatible with my car, what features are important in the new headlights?
I understand:
- new headlight must be bixenon
- with servomotor for regulate the scope of the lights
- for cars with steering wheel at left side
- but what happen with the control unit for xenon? because as it is said in the last screenshot, these new headlights have not control unit. What do i need regarding control unit?.
- The installation of the new headlights is plug & play or it will be necessary make changes in cable´s plugs and pinout of them?

2. Finally i have other question. It is regarding side fron fenders. At the first view, it seems that both side fendes (before and after restyling) have the same EXTERNAL shape (with the exception of vent grills and more differents in the middle). Are i right? that is to say, the before side fenders would fit with the restyling bonnet and restyling headlights?

Many thanks for your help beforehand.
Regards

So you are talking about going to this? YOu need new lights, a new bumper and new fenders, plus all the "parts" that go into those items (fog lights, grilles, buffers, etc.)

Mine is a MY2011 so it came that way (the facelift was from MY2009 forward). Your best bet would be to find a donor car from MY2009-MY2012. Maybe one with rear end damage or a blown engines, etc. Buying that and swapping parts would likely be less expensive than sourcing individual parts. Plus, doing it piecemeal, I am certain that you will run into unexpected different parts that you will have to stop and locate. With a donor, you'd have it all.

The facelift headlights won't fit your car unless you replace the entire front end. Whatever "facelift" headlights you find should have their own integrated HID ballasts and control units. Also, there may be some wiring differences. The facelift headlights have several features, like steerable bi-xenon projectors that rotate as you steer. There are also extra inboard halogen bulbs that illuminate to the sides when turning at low speeds.
