ABC Suspension

Hi all.
i know there is a lot threads about ABC faults so here's another.
Basically mine seems to be stuck sitting up like a 4x4. If i push the abc button in centre console nothing happens apart from red warning on the dash drive carefully & the tuna boat effect. I went to it next day the warning light had gone also the tuna boat effect had gone but car still sits high.

If it is stuck up in a high position o would suspect an issue with the valve block. If abnormally high you might also have a problem with the position sensors.

Just as i suspected just needed some input. Hopefully going down the coilover route just for piece of mind and reliability.

With an issue like this one it would be helpful to know some history; e.g., did the car get to be high at all four wheels at the same time? Was it gradual, or was it sudden? The answers are probably moot, since you seem to be set on ditching ABC.

For most ABC issues and that includes this one you simply have to invest in diagnostic equipment which provides a window into what inputs the ABC controller is receiving and how it responds by way of control currents to the valve blocks. An inexpensive iCarsoft device costing c. $115 might suffice in this case, but a surer way to go is Star Diagnosis.

Valve block rebuild. Not too bad. My ABC works perfectly after it was done.

it is unlikely that all 4 valves fail at the same time, leaving the car in raised level mode. t is something with the electronics is my guess.

Get a DAS/Xentry and a C4, so you can diagnose the problem.

Contact member @pmercury, he can do your DAS/Xentry install.
The C4 you buy on Aliexpress.

I'd suggest its a pressure failure. If it was a valve block fail, only one axle would be stuck. But if - for example - the pump fails to reach the specified pressure (or the pressure sensor is defective), both front and rear hydraulic circuits would be closed an separated from the system. So the car would remain drivable for some time even without hydraulic pressure coming from the pump. But it would not respond to the button.
I'd use a SD to read the faults and check the hydraulic pressure.

It seems a Foxwell NT510 Elite can diagnose ABC and perform actuations including Rodeo and level calibration. All for just $130. One member has ordered one and intends to do a write up on its capabilities.
