Planning to buy SL 500 @ 121K niles

Hi folks, I am planning to buy SL 500. What are the most common issue and are they DIY?. I am pretty tech savvy. I an IT person and rebuilt Nag 1 E320 transmission and maintained E320 from 70 K to 200 K. So I learned a lot of things about MB.

There are many choices for DAS/Xentry Diagnostics for MB.
Ensure you have the right information before getting one. There is too much misleading info.

If you have Mercedes' proprietary Star Diagnosis System (SDS) or an equivalent, then DIY is not difficult at all. Once such equivalent may be the Foxwell NT510 Elite for only $130.

I would replace the little filter for the ABC system unless you have record that this has already been done.

I’m a relatively new owner but so far there seems to be many things on the car that are diy friendly, including the biggest headaches (ABC and top)
