Plunger sensor

I have a 2003 sl55 with the blue abc warning for a rear left plunger sensor. The live reading is 255mm. When I switched the sensors left and right the sensor worked on the right side. I am getting 5v at the sensor and the signal wire has voltage out.
does anyone know the wire path and termination of the signal wire?

The signal wire is yellow with a grey stripe, and it goes directly to the ABC controller (N51) passing through no intermediate connectors. At N51 it terminates on socket #17 of the large connector (pictured). I imagine you'll check continuity between that point and the sensor connector and inspect the quality of the electrical connection at N51.

Turns out the plunger sensor is bad.
Anyone have a source for used ones or rebuild? Hate to buy a whole strut just for the sensor.

I have the same issue with the front left. I did the rodeo twice. I may change fluid before changing strut. I heard that may help. May be worth a shot in your case as well.
