Current leak @ ABC control valve.

Hi
I used DAS to check the condition of ABC valve. My rear left current value is different from other 3 side. Without turning valve on, other 3 sides current value =0mA, while my rear left control valve current read 9.8mA. Pls see the screen. Is it normal? Can I continue to use? Or there is something wrong with rear left solenoid control valve. Please suggest. Thanks.

DAS screen, read 9.8mA current @control valve, which are 0mA for front right, front left and rear right.

Any technical explanation? The value of current while operating ran within the desired range, but this 9.8mA annoy me somehow.

your old vintage system shows that as "strut blocking valve"
it is a plunger check valve

check if connector is ok over there

I believe it is unusual for any of the valve currents to read non-zero in this instance. If there actually is this small current flowing through the control valve, then it is surely of no concern. While you are driving the valve current is controlled in part by a feedback loop which comprises the signal from the strut "travel sensor", and this would completely eliminate the effects of the "error" current.

I make a point of not commenting on suggestions made in other posts unless I believe they would be a needless waste of significant time or money. That is the case here, as I do not recommend checking the electrical connector of the control valve in search for a cause of this non-zero current.

Not sure if I understand u, but I was talking about y36/2y1 where it shows 9.8mA. It is control valve, the longer solenoid. Old or new software, it means the same solenoid, not y36/2y2.
