SL55 or 63 motor mounts on 09 SL550
Hello everyone,
I have 09 SL550 and planning on replacing mounts since some vibration is noticeable at idle. Would it be a good idea to use AMG mounts, they all look identical. Interesting that on 63, mounts have different part numbers: A2112403117 for left side and A2212401817 for right side. Any response is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Vadim

I can not think of a reason not to use the engine mounts specified for your car's engine.
Further, vibration at idle needn't be a consequence of failed engine mounts. A proper check would include an inspection and/or observing how the engine moves when you rev the engine with the gear selector in Drive or Reverse. There are countless YouTube videos which show what to expect visually from a good mount and a bad mount.
