where to find slightly used SL500s?
after taking huge depreciation hits on new bimmers i am tempted to buy a slightly used SL500 .. (let some1 else take the initial 20% hit 
what are the best sources to find slightly used pampered cars? ebay?

What 20% hit? Ain't so
While Caddies and Lincolns might take a 20% initial hit on resale, a 5th generation SL500 does not. Case in point. I have a 2005 SL coming in any day. The dealer offered me $78K for my 2003 SL500; and that's off the DISCOUNTED price of the 2005. I paid $91k for the 2003 car when new (after a discount). According to my math, that's a 14% hit over 2 years, or 7% a year. And I still hope to sell the 2003 privately, which will make the hit even less.

I was recently offered less than 70k for mine when looking into an 05. My car has 17000 miles though, so that might be why.
