Best way to sell 2004 SL?
I'd like to hear people's thoughts on how to get the most money when selling a relatively new SL. It's a 2004 SL500 with sport package and wood package. I bought the car about 10 months ago for $97K and it has 8,000 miles.
Where is the best place to advertise it? And how much should I expect to get for it?
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

It's so easy?!
Heh. Heh, heh. Ha, Ha, HAAAAAA!
You must have absolutely no idea of the marketplace in high dollar cars right now. I feel for you, but you can thank several factors, not the least of which are your friends at Mercedes Benz North America, for the ridiculous amount of SL's in the marketplace. Once you realize what your car is really worth, you may decide to continue to ride. Great car, and not worth losing $10 grand on in this short period of time.

In any case, my reason for creating this thread in the first place was to ask for advice from other members about the best way to go about selling a fairly new SL. As for your comment that I should just keep the car, I wish I could, but I am expecting to move overseas soon and don't intend to bring it with me so I will have no use for it.

Thnx!
I might end up with a new SLk350 loaded and just wait for the newer engines to debut in late 2005/early 2006.
Thanks for replying anyway and good luck selling the car!
