OMG not another ABC post !

I have a strange issue with my right rear strut. I replaced the rear accumulator, rebuilt the rear valve block. Now I have a hard code saying RR strut error. Took it to a good indy shop, he scanned it while I was there. Cleared all codes but that one keeps coming back. He could control that one strut, up and down, slow and fast, read values on the plunger sensor, reset all values etc. Turn the car off, start it up BAM hard code again. In white ABC visit workshop. Doesn't make any sense, he could read all codes and they look good. I replaced the plunger sensor before I took it in. Thought resetting the values would fix the code.

Any idea what's causing this ? Is the strut bad ? It doesn't leak and the scanner could work it. Trapped air maybe ?

Without knowing specifically which code keeps coming back I have nothing to suggest, unfortunately.
