Top 5 useful features on your SL

hello, though i start with top 5 features I like

1. retracted hard roof ( hey that's why I bought the car )
2. keyless go
3. parktronic
4. SBC H
5. Speed limiter (saved me lots of times, except once caught speeding at 60km/hr on a 50km/hr zone, revenue generating event normally staged by our local goverment in the name of road safety)

Exclamation

I would not pay any future fines until just before you had to go to court to make it more difficult for them. Also, if I could afford such a car, I would get a full radar detector and laser jammers too. 10kmh is just stupid. They think that it is OK for a 20 year old ****box t go 50 when it is raining with lots of traffic, but going 60 in one of the safest cars on the road on a sunny day with no traffic is a major offence. Some people really cant afford such fines too. People here are totally brainwashed, they think that if you stare at your speedo permantly, and you never speed, than you are one of the safest drivers that exist. Mind you the speed limits are so slow sometimes that it pretty hard to have an accident at such speeds, yet they still manage too. Multanova's are just major revenue raisers, so they will never get rid of them, and they don't even spend the money raised back into our roads. Unbelievable. Shocking.

PS. Sorry for hijacking this thread and completely changing the subject.

Hey Monty, can't seem to get SBC to hold. Flick the switch and get dashes. Only tried it a couple of times so maybe I'm doing something dumb.

Still disappointed in Bose by the way so getting an amp and sub. For the money we pay, expected a lot better. See in the E-class you can upgrade to Harmon Kardon.

Making the most of the sunny weather here in Scotland as it won't last!

Thanks Monty, I'll try again.

And meant to say the bi-xenon lights are fantastic. Only thing is the bug-splatter! Mind you, I guess our bugs won't be in the same league as yours!

Wink Top features on my Launch Edition SL 500- giffSCPA

Here they are:
1. Retractable top (why I bought car)
2. Overall characteristics of car stability on corners, etc.Overall engine response and transmission capability, etc.
3. The BOSCH NavTeq mapping system (WISH IT WERE DVD)
4. Attracts comments from all wherever I go
5. The seat ventilation system ( really keeps moisture off your back)

NEGATIVES-- Wish spare tire were full size; Wish NavTeq were DVD, CD changins is a pain - I live right on a division of mapping!)
