Background: My 2008 SL550, (62,000 miles) started throwing codes this morning. Fuel mileage dropped from 17-18 mpg around town to 6.4-6.5. Odd things like the outside temperature display now displays 74 when it is actually in the low 80's. Following is a screenshot of my Torque code display.
I am considering removing the ECM and sending it to www.g7computers.com for repair.
I have two questions. 1) Does this sound like an ECM issue and 2) has anyone dealt with this New York company?
