SL/R230: Black or Black?

2005 R 230 SL350 (M112 3.7). Sold the 1966 W113 230SL recently
Black or Black?
My SL is obsidian black (metallic). The coating on the plastic covers L&R of the rear window is slowly going south (as they all do). I think I want to get them professionally resprayed.
I think originally they were all in hi gloss plain black.
The guy at the paint shop suggests to have them sprayed in MB obsidian black, blending in with the body. He thinks plain black will never be identical to the black masking in the window (still, that was what MB did).
What do you guys think? Black or obsidian?

2005 SL 500, 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Wis says you have to take the top half down during the replacement process. I found that to be unnecessary. Just open trunk, grab the old panels with pliers and pull down about 3/4 inch. There is a raised place on the panels you may need to pry up a bit. You can see where to pry by looking at the new parts. Come right off. There is a youtube video that cover it also.
