Well Bob I will say this. I have read many posts by you helping others with many issues with these cars. And I believe you have helped many. But there is no reason to tail Peter on almost every post he makes. You wanted a Foxwell Sticky and you got it. If you have other information about a Das system post it on your own thread. There is no reason to jump on every thread with the same criticism. Peter is engaged in helping and running a business. There is no need for you to interfere with a person who has a 100 percent approval from his customers. Do you own thing but stay off his posts and everyone will be much happier. It really is that simple. Come on Man! LOL

I was working with Peter for almost a year and he helped me on many different issues. I will not give him my 100% approval, but will give him 1000% approval and appreciation not only for his bulletproof system, but for his service, availability and determination!
Gene, HLG600, et al: I know you guys want to portray me as a villain of some sort here who is on a jihad against your boy, but here's an inconvenient truth for you: Many times I have stated unequivocally and I do so again: Peter's service is perfectly fine.

As for the second part, you are taking that too personally, IMHO. Like I said earlier, this topic is well-documented. Anyone who does a bit of research can quickly ID the alternatives and make an informed choice for themselves.

If you can explain how the dealer software can get to your hands, or how can you get access to a developer level software that can enable/disable some features, do diagnostics, calibrations legally? You - regular guy with mercedes car. How? How can you get access to a legit software that not even dealership has(developer level xentry)? There's no way you can get it. I can add couple more questions that you don't have answer,but typing from a phone is not comfortable.

Sadly i was not able to get a complete help from Benz Ninja,i gave him my Whatsap number but he is said he is not able to reach me n how? i do not know..!!Apparently we first communicated on email and he perfectly explained everything to me until we came to a point where i needed his recommendations on where to buy proper tools from proper sellers of his choice.Mind you, i did not have any problem to pay him either a deposit or whatever he requested for this particular service.This days he is not responding me.Note,I only have proper access to network while i am at my work area and too bad the company policies do not allow for things like skype that he somewhat prefers.

I have a HDD loaded with data version 2015.7 marked "C3 software".
Is there any way that I can use my SDconnect C4 multiplexer with this system?
My original 2015.12 version that I originally bought with the C4 is bricked with PEGuard.

set your LAN IP IP4 to 172.29.127.119 255.255.255.0
if that doesn't work, ask the Chinese or whoever build it what they messed around with
if it is a clean genuine Xentry, it must work

It seems that most of these Chinese HDDs have all sorts of problems but the original German MB system is out of my price range.

The IP address has now been changed for LAN and WiFi however there is no connection to the C4 MUX. The C4 screen reads "Device not in use".
I think the problem lies with the MUX names, the laptop shows 02 with a red cross whereas the C4 is named 21. With my bricked (locked) HDD there is a yellow padlock numbered 21 that matches the C4 MUX.
Is it possible to configure the laptop to read 21 and not 02?

I've only just bought this HDD and was anxious to get it up and running.
The seller tells me it is the Chinese new year holiday so his technician will not be able to do anything until next week.

I bought it from eBay UK and the seller has a very good feedback score.
When I first put in the HDD it read that it needed the "Access Authorization code", this is when the seller said I had to wait for the technician.
I used a key generator for the start keys that got it running only to find that it will not connect to the C4 MUX. I had written before ordering what my system was i.e. laptop model and C4 MUX.
If they can't or won't do anything, or no refund, that feedback score will look a lot different.
It was by chance that I found this thread when looking for a key generator, so of course knew nothing of your service, (do you sell just pre loaded HHD/SSD, or only with a laptop included?)
If they can't do anything, and I get a refund, I'll send you an email.

What they do is that they modify the whole windows and partition. This is why that once their store is gone after a few month's or more and the system locks, you can forget about what you paid for. its locked
