Hi everyone - just resurrecting this thread, I bought an SL55 (2003 with fibre optic setup) and the previous owner has had a new Pioneer double din fitted. From what I can see after stripping the interior they've also replaced the stock amp with a new one and have that connected up to the speakers. Everything works fine apart from the subwoofer, it looks like they've directly connected this to the amp, there's on sound from the subwoofer at all...any ideas?
Now that BeanMeans has resurrected the thread, I got some questions hoping the radio replacement experts could answer..!
I have the Amplifier schematic and the Command schematic, in both I can see a "wake up" connector. Then this question comes to mind..
If the aftermarket radio does not have a wakeup signal, how the amplifier gets woke up? Will it function without that wake up call?
The rest of connections are pretty straight forward! I am attaching the diagram for your reference.
