SDS if you have one. If not, there is a way to do it manually. Search around online. You will find it.

I'm not 100% sure but I heard the SBC pump is at the front of the car on passenger side, and you could deactivate it by unplugging the power to it. If you are working on the brakes, one this for sure is you want to be positive that you got the proper way of deactivating it without any question about it, and not someone's guess. Working on brakes with SBC can be dangerous. I think a Mercedes write-up on how to do a brake job would go into detail about deactivating the SBC for sure. Besides unplugging the power to the SBC pump, I think it's also a step that the car's keys are to be kept far away from the car, like 400 feet, so the car can't think of suddenly activating the pump for any reason. On my R230's I just have a shop do brakes work so I don't have to worry about it!

That's it? I thought you had to unplug power to the SBC pump before working on the brakes. Also, I had heard that you are supposed to make sure that all keys to the car were far away enough that the car won't think owner is near, plus positively not opening any of the car's doors while working on the brake system as well. With a system that can chop off your fingers, it's an important issue to know for certain that you're doing the procedures right. With most other Benz, brake work is just about the easiest brakes in the world compared to many other car brands.
