Hood grill part numbers

Wondering if the hood grills on a 2007 and 2009 are the same part number. I know the hoods are different. Bought an aftermarket hood the grills fit nice in the cutouts but the top fins are a little long Mine is a 07 sl65 The rear of the fins fit well.

Just saw a pic of a black series hood. Looks like there are no fins on top.. Not a good pic though.

Note that the 230 830 11/12 18 grills are just the regular grills for the pre-facelift SL's. They possibly removed the fins because they don't look right on the Black Series style grill where they don't sit down in a recess like the regular models.

The original part numbers were 230 830 01/02 18 (like you have) superseded by the 11/12 P/N's

I did find a good picture of the Black Series hood grills. They do not have the fins, but do have a bar across the grill like you would see if you removed the fins. I couldn't see enough detail to tell for sure if they are just the standard grills with fins removed, but that is what is looks like.

The stock grills fit nice in the opening. Just the fins that are a problem. The cutout for the grill are raised higher than stock. When sitting in the car you can see the raised part of the cutout. Actually looks like the 2 recessed sections at the front of the hood. Ill try to find those part numbers.
Thanks
