2004 SL500
Unhappy Hot air from A/C vents

Good day all;
This past Friday/yesterday I inadvertently left the Fog lights on my 2004 SL500 after shutting off my car. This left me with a very weakened/almost dead battery after about 16 hrs. as my remote key to open the doors would not work, but placing the key in the ignition did start he vehicle.
Car now appears to be slowly, but surely is regaining a good charging status for normal start/restart/operation, how ever now my air conditioner is not functioning. Mind you, prior to draining the battery the air was FREEZING. Is this normal and what is the fix if at any, before I go bend a knee to a mechanic?
Please advise if anyone has ever had a similar circumstance and fix to this issue.

The Battery in the Trunk takes care of all Electrical Functions except for Starting the Vehicle. Until you drive and charge the trunk battery or you charge it it with an external charger or you have a bad trunk battery you need to replace this will continue to have the problem. You should be seeing a warning on the dash for this. If you do not drive the vehicle often you will need a trickle AGM type charger for the trunk battery
