Lumbar switch connection

Morning all (at least here),

while starting a diagnose on the lack of lumbar on both my seats (locks and soft close still worked) I found this condition with the control switch. Do the 500’s and 55’s have different controls units? On the back of the unit it says sl500 in paint pen so I assume this is a salvage part.

I cannot see where this air line would connect.

thanks!

edit: this is the exhaust port for releasing lumbar pressure

Do you have multi-contour seats? The 'switch' for the standard lumbar only seat is a pressure regulator, 100% mechanical, and has air connections. The 'switch' for the multi-contour seats, like the switch pictured, is 100% electrical. It connects to the control valve in the back of the seat and all air lines are connected directly to the control.

pulled the back seat covers off and all the lumbar hoses have detached from the bags....looks like i'm going to try the IV bag trick.
