STUCK DVD
My COMMAND 6 Cartridge in dash DVD player won't eject or play DVDs. Slots 1 and 2 both have DVDs, but pressing the eject button has the same result. It just turns for a few minutes like it's trying to eject but can't do it. I have tried tapping the player while ejecting, but that didn't work. Anyone dealt with this before? It's very aggravating I would rather change the water pump then fish out a stuck DVD.

Same problem. Did you solve this? I inserted a music DVD. The screen says the system is not available.
anyone knows how to solve this? It does nothing, I think the disc is not spinning either.

2005 R 230 SL350 (M112 3.7). Sold the 1966 W113 230SL recently
Pushing the on off button of a Comand for 5-10 seconds (don't know) is said to reset the unit. A last resort for those in agony is disconnecting the ground cable of the accessories battery in the back. Give it 10 mins or so (don't know).
Good luck!

My CD changer once in a while gets stuck, but when it does, I discovered that tapping on top of the cartridge with the handle of a screwdriver while pressing eject gets the job done. I think this is caused by the cartridge holders not slippering out easy, since when I used an old cartridge, started getting stuck more frequently. so a dry lubricant like graphite or silicone will help!
