STUCK DVD

My COMMAND 6 Cartridge in dash DVD player won't eject or play DVDs. Slots 1 and 2 both have DVDs, but pressing the eject button has the same result. It just turns for a few minutes like it's trying to eject but can't do it. I have tried tapping the player while ejecting, but that didn't work. Anyone dealt with this before? It's very aggravating I would rather change the water pump then fish out a stuck DVD.

Same problem. Did you solve this? I inserted a music DVD. The screen says the system is not available.
anyone knows how to solve this? It does nothing, I think the disc is not spinning either.

2005 R 230 SL350 (M112 3.7). Sold the 1966 W113 230SL recently
Pushing the on off button of a Comand for 5-10 seconds (don't know) is said to reset the unit. A last resort for those in agony is disconnecting the ground cable of the accessories battery in the back. Give it 10 mins or so (don't know).
Good luck!

I had to take out the entire COMMAND UNIT and send it to a shop in California which specializes in removing stuck DVDs. It was quite a bit of work since you have to dis-assemble the center console. Below is the shop I used in California. I highly recommend them if you try this yourself. Best cost (I think around $450), very professional and fast turn-around:

Did they tell you what caused the problem?

My CD changer once in a while gets stuck, but when it does, I discovered that tapping on top of the cartridge with the handle of a screwdriver while pressing eject gets the job done. I think this is caused by the cartridge holders not slippering out easy, since when I used an old cartridge, started getting stuck more frequently. so a dry lubricant like graphite or silicone will help!

My problem us that there is no eject button, I must select an eject option in the software that is not lit up.
plenty of other media, I might ask the garage during the next service but I do not want to spend a couple 100eds on this.
but thank you all for your help
