So you think universally they don't do anything ?

I agree with the white paper but there is a massive fundamental problem...

Sprint booster just changes the mapping of the pedal.

10% is now 20% etc. etc.

Why don't you just push the pedal harder..

Since this thread discusses Sprint Booster to a certain extent, I wanted to give my experience with it. I have 09 SL550 and the sluggishness in acceleration was always an issue. I tried everything possible and could not achieve much, but Sprint Booster somewhat solved the problem. Gas pedal became more responsive, however having transmission in S mode, shifting became less predictable. Anyway, I was using SB for a while and thought that it was a long term solution, until... I met Peter (BenzNinja). He made updates to components that were outdated but most importantly, he installed AMG DTM software to ABC module. That update totally transformed the car. Engine, transmission, SBC and ESP were recalibrated according to AMG P030 DTM specs. I could go on and on how the car feels now, but there is separate thread with the responses from other people. Why I mentioned this? Because now I don’t have a need for SB! In other words , SB works until you find something MUCH Better!!! In my opinion, for any MB that is equipped with ABC 2 (2009-12), the solution provided by Peter is a must have!!!

That's true it does ramp up the pedal position sensor voltage to the ecu .

But it also gets the throttle plate moving faster thus fuel too , faster than mashing the pedal to the floor .

Now there is a video showing the opposite , no change , it's correct but there's a reason for that .

I know why that is , but do you ?

How any of you reset the the transmission/ECU adaptive transmission on your SL, R230`s?

The transmission learns your driving style and may need to be reset once a while

I have never done this myself so what i write here is from the transmission/ECU reset link below:

In a thread on this forum i read that several that did this feels like they got quite a bit more responsive car after reset of the transmission
Their posts after doing the reset is like:

1. I reset my ecu this morning. All I can say is wow!!! I really unleashed a beast.

2. Followed the directions. What a difference!
