sl 500 2004
Transmission stuck in first gear
Has been playing up for months and finally has a terminal issue. There is a 'check engine' light that came on too. When putting in gear it grabs with a jerk.

Any thoughts? (It's a 2004 LS 500 7 speed).

Get an install from P Mercury ( BenzNinja ), and let him take a look at it.

Probably not solvable without data acces.

When you drive and get to about 25/30 mph put inton N pause a fraction of a second knock back into D

Does it change to a higher gear or lose drive?

I give up, probably a mechanical issue - minimum oil change - but the benzninja fan clubs trying to flog him electronics
