Hello everybody I drove my 2008 R350 until the day before yesterday without any problems.
Yesterday morning when I wanted to start it, the engine was "mute".
The dashboard tells me a fault in the SRS.
I do not know if that will be the reason why the car does not want to start.
I have checked the SRS connections under the two front seats and it seems that everything is fine.
I thought it could be the battery but I just installed a new one and nothing has changed, the problem remains the same.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
Any help please.

You probably want to post over in the R class/W251 forum , the folks here drive 2 seat convertibles
That said, you're best bet is hooking your R350 up to a STAR diagnostic system to read the stored codes, they'll tell you everything. If you want to avoid the MB dealer, any independent Benz shop will be able to do this.

I can't move the car, not even 5 feet, there's no way to put the shifting in neutral.
I have a code reader for M Benz but since the car does not start, it can hardly read anything, there is no communication between the modules
