Coilover/Sway Bar ABC replacement
Long time since anyone posted on ABC removal and standard coilover with sway bar replacement. Before anyone mentions the already known stuff from Strutmasters, VVK etc I’m mainly looking for sway bars that are for the 5L, 55 and 6L not the V6 350.

Former R230, W220 and W221 owner
VVK and rebuild master tech are the only companies I know of that made sway bars for these conversions

VVK makes a thicker sway bar compared to the one that came on the v6 sl350

VVK doesn’t make sway bars. They are bought by VVK; made by a third party, separate aftermarket company.
You can build your own NASCAR style bars that are fully adjustable and the bar made for VVK is not
That being said those bars made for VVK are sadistically similar to E55 copies.

I've got SL 350 bars on my 500. It drives and takes corners as well as you should ever need when driving on the road. Body roll is minimal. I honestly couldn't justify paying twice as much for VVK sway bars. If you have an SL55 or 600 the story is different, the 350 front bars do not fit properly.

Did you get the 350SL bars on Mercedes benz dealers? And what coilover did you used?

Yes I bought new bars from the dealer with aftermarket links. I bought Ceika coilovers with dual springs.

Just from the picture, the shape looks the same. The bushes are different obviously as are the ends where there are multiple holes for adjustment.
