2003 Head unit - Radio
I recall reading a thread here about a 2003-2005 head unit not needing to have a security code if swapping out head units like to like.
So if was to purchase a standard USA head unit would it work in Australia
For example our tuning widths start at 88.00FM and go to 108.00FM and everything between is this the same with your bandwidths/FM Channels
So like we have a local radio station that is 100.1 Hot One Hundred are your stations the same
https://www.ebay.com/itm/19444952158...temCondition=4

In STAR: Control Units -> Body -> CGW - Central Gateway -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Read coding and change if necessary -> National Version (Change from Version 494 : "US" to "Rest of World")
Without recoding in STAR, your FM will work mostly fine, with a few occasional hiccups, but your AM station search would be cumbersome, with some stations unavailable.

Yes, it will work, but not flawlessly without changing the national version coding in STAR.
