I am looking for an exploded diagram that is often used by car sales websites and such. Is there a place one can get those diagrams for their car?
A long time ago I seem to have actually seen an application that you buy and it has this info with part numbers and everything like that? Something that would allow me to produce something like the image at the end of this msg.

That is the electronic parts catalog EPC. It is easily attainable on internet, along with WIS and other applications. Includes a search engine. WIS is the meticulous how-to instruction set about working on Mercedes-es. Look for 'WIS' on the internet. To get it running on a pc requires a not too difficult extra step (virtual machine), often included in the purchase.
