Wheel damage

How do you guys keep shops from scuffing up your wheels? Every single time I take my car somewhere and get it back, it has new marks on the rims. I've had them resurfaced once already and they always deny it happened. I am open to suggestions, because it is getting kind of frustrating.

I've never had this issue before I got the SL, Are the wheels just really delicate or something? Maybe I need to have them coated in something to toughen them up.

Been there more than once.. take service manager out to car and have him witness you taking pic of car and wheels - in my case I can scratch on the worker order "the car was left without blemish, shop agrees to return in same condition". Seems silly to go this level but we are leaving high value cars (wheels too) with guys paid to get cars in / out asap.
