SL/R230: Red Battery Icon CAN signal fault

Red Battery Icon CAN signal fault
Hello,
I have a red battery icon on the dash. No issues starting or charging. Both batteries are healthy and charging.
when I scan the BCM battery control module I get only one fault. Its current/active.
-b1293 hardware circuit code EIS and CAN- signal implausible.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Is this a broken wire? Where should I check for issues?
