From the November issue of Car & Driver. Interesting that their best run with a Renntech modified SL600 ran .1 second slower to 60 than the "stock" SL600 they tested earlier this year. Want to bet they tested a RennTech car each time?

"The RENNtech SL600 finished in sixth place, but that doesn’t warrant a sneer, considering it’s a wind-in-your-hair luxury roadster that was up against some very serious sports cars. A stock Mercedes-Benz SL600 cranks out a remarkable 493 horsepower and a neck-snapping 590 pound-feet of torque, and after RENNtech’s head honcho, Hartmut Feyhl, gets through with his 15-grand engine massage, those numbers soar to an astronomical 640 horses and 770 pound-feet. On its best run at Michigan speedway, this souped-up SL600 ripped from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, only 0.2 second behind the winning Hennessey Venom’s performance."

Did you read the part at the beginning of the article about not comparing the times to any other tests? Or am I mistaking this article with another one?

The 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds is from the brand new November issue and they were driving a RennTech modified car.

I already read that part in your first message... I'm asking if YOU read the first part of the article where it says the times in that article are slower than usual and you should not use those times in comparison with the times from any other test.
