2007 R230 sl550

Emblem on engine cover

My emblem is missing from the engine cover. Just looks like someone snapped it off. Any idea where I can find a replacement?

I don't think they sell it separate from what I recall reading here. I have heard of people buying the trunk badge and breaking off the tabs and gluing the emblem onto the engine cover.

Are you referring to the plastic engine intake plenum cover or the hood?

Yes, replacing emblem on the engine cover (The emblem on the front plastic piece that you remove before removing the actual engine air box). I've only heard of being able to buy the plastic trunk emblem (Has 3 pins that go in the 3 holes on the trunk). It should be the same size. Mine is gone as well on my CLK550 engine cover, just haven't bothered. I would measure and double check first to be safe as I have not tried this, but is the only solution I've read about here.
