Former R230, W220 and W221 owner
Light out on dash
2003 Sl500

A bulb on the instrument cluster started flashing and eventually went out- specifically the bulb that illuminates in the 40-80MPH range on the speedometer.

Is the instrument cluster similar to the tailights where the bulbs are soldered on LED's or is it just a small replaceable bulb?

'03 SL55 Black, '03 SL500's Aegean, Mars Red, Tazanite, Alabaster, '11 S550 Flint Gray
They are surface mount LEDs.
