I recently bought a US-version SL600 from 2005 in opal red. That color is a solid red without metallic.
The seller here in Sweden told me that this is a color that only exists on SL600's if they are sold as new in the US.
And that would mean that there aren't sold any European version SL600's in solid red at all.
Is there a register somewhere, or does any of You here have knowledge about that..?
I have an '03 SL500 in that color. I don't think it was exclusive to the US, but it is rare. I would look for a Euro sales brochure to see what was available. There is no database by color.

Yes OK, hard to find the broschures though.
And as I understood it, it was only regarding the SL600 in red. I think the 6 and 8 cylinder versions could be bought in red here in Sweden...
