Wheel offset question

Hey Guys,

I need a set of wheels but was confused as to what model years had the wheels that I needed
One of the member clarified in R231 section that the wheels I am looking for came on R230 and not R231
I am looking for 19 x 8.5 ET 30 and 19 x 9.5 ET 31?

I am looking for a set for my W210 E55 and seems like these wheels would fit?

If anyone is selling their OEM set, please send me PM

Thanks

There are a few different "mercedes wheel catalog" PDFs. this one covers up thru 2006 (and includes R230s starting on page 71). It includes offset info for each wheel/application (listed under each wheel).

Cheers,

Here's a wheel/tire size chart for R230s.

An offset of 48mm is quite a bit more than normal for this car. I don't know if those would even fit, but even if they do that offset is going to tuck the wheels pretty far inside the fenders so it would look pretty weird. You could make them work with spacers, but you're looking at a spacer thickness of roughly 20mm to get them in the ballpark of where they'd look good. For me personally, I'd consider these wheels only if they were a really good deal or they were a particular design that I really liked and weren't available in a smaller offset. Otherwise I'd keep looking.

If you do decide to use wheels that'll need spacers, remember that these cars require hub-centric spacers.

Thank you for the reply it helps a lot. I did find a decent priced E350 18x8.5 rims with tires and am considering going with spacers.
