BRAKE. Brake Service Required message.

Hello again friends. I recently got my machine back on the road after a lengthy engagement of being parked in the garage (I've only put about 100 miles on the clock in the past 2 years). I've been driving it around with no errors but then all of a sudden I got a "BRAKE. Brake Service Required" message on the cluster.

I hooked up the scanner and got the two messages below.
6250 Fault in control module 'A7/3n1 (Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) module: Short-time cut-out during operation.
5611 System faults: Check the control module 'A7/3n1 (Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) module)'.

So are these fatal errors that need to be addressed immediately, or is this a suggestion that I simply get the brakes serviced? Should I NOT drive the vehicle until getting it checked out? Is this a replace the SBC unit scenario? And if I do replace the unit (which I'm not averse to doing), will I need Star Diagnostics to program it to my car?
As always, I'll very much appreciate any information that anyone can provide on this. The car drives and brakes fine, but this is definitely something I want address sooner rather than later.

Thanks

On my Sl500, a White message means service ASAP but a Red message means service immediately.

If it were mine, I would take it to the dealer since it relates to SBC braking system. Probably ok to drive it if a reasonable distance. Recall that MB has extended warranty to 25 years so any repairs should be covered.
Details of the warranty extension are found with a quick search of this forum or internet.
