I have several Topdons -- an AD600, an AD900BT, and a Topscan. For the money, the Topscan is the best buy at $70 -- it connects to a smartphone and scans as thoroughly as the AD900BT. I just bought a Launch X431 Elite 2.0 Benz for $150, and it's the scanner you want if you want to customize settings, and it scans as thoroughly as the Topdons do.

I am looking for a bidirectional scanner for my SL55 that can assign a Keyless Go slot. Does anyone have any experience with a scanner with this capability?

I'm 90% sure that my Launch Elite Benz will do that. I usually pull out DAS if I am going to do any variant coding because Launch doesn't do everything, but I'm pretty sure it will do keyless go slot assignments.

Can you do me a favor? Go into the PSE variant coding and see if you can turn on air supply for multicontour seats. I have the Elite (not the 2.0) and it tells you something like F3 to turn on, F4 to turn off, but only gives you the F4 button. Kind of annoying that a feature they intend to implement is not working. Just wondering if the different screen format shows the second button. Thanks!

I will do just that, as I have never had my lumber working since I got my car either. I replaced the broken tube under both seats but I believe the PSU can shut down a port that has issues. I will have a look for you this weekend.

What I would say is the more I use the Launch, the better I am getting at understanding the set up and menus, great compact bit of kit !
