Passenger side window

Passenger side window
Good morning guys,
I drove to work this morning and noticed that the passenger side window had more noise to it than normal. Got to work and noticed that the window is not in the rubber seal at the top of the door. I opened the door, but the window did not lower as it normally would. I tried to lower it with the button, (both sides), and it did not move at all. Am I wrong by thinking that the window has fell out of adjustment in the track? Also am I correct that this will prevent the top from retracting as well? Where do I begin? Thanks guys.

To synchronize windows typically after a battery is disconnected, raise both window switches with all 4 windows topped out. Then hold the 2 switches up for a few seconds.
