Auto window up or down
Hi Everyone
I have a2011 SL550 and was wondering why my window does not roll up after the top is closed. Each time I operate the top either to open or close, the window would roll down and stay down. I have to manually roll the windows back up. Is this normal or is there a setting where I can have the window roll up automatically?

Have you disconnected the rear battery? sometimes it can do this to the windows so try a reset:
Lower window by pressing the button in half way on the switch, then when the window is down, press further and hold the switch for about 5 secs and let go, now raise the window by pulling the button half way and again once at the top, pull further and hold for 5 secs, you will heat a little relay click. This sets the lower and upper limits of your windows.

Setting occurs within a second. And if a previous owner installed a SmartTop device you have the option to program whatever the windows should do when cycling the top.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried your method and it didn’t work. The window still does not roll up automatically after the top is open or closed. I have to push the window button after to close it. Any other tips?

This might be normal. I have the same thing. I don't have auto roll up either when trying to raise the windows up in general. Not sure if prefacelift ones had these features or not.
