pse pump: flooded, new impeller, only opens doors...
Dear all,
Recently my pse pump was under water due to trunk flooding after a bad storm.
The impeller was into pieces, the airfilter clogged with black debris and full of water.
I changed the impeller and filter. The board and engine cleaned and dried and contact sprayed.
After reinstalling, motor works fine and opens the doors, not the trunk. It doesn't close the doors and soft close of trunk lid not working.
What could be the cause? What else is broken?
Many thanks for any ideas or solutions!!!

If it was flooded, you probably have a damaged board or solenoids.

I would start by removing the PSE control box and opening that up to see if there is still water inside. If you have repaired the impeller then it can only be the control box.
Also for future issues, I have mentioned before about the drain plug in the bottom of the rear floor, remove it ! it allows somewhere for the water to exit. Also on your filter you can add tube so it acts like a snorkel.
