V12 versus SL55 V8 Longevity?
Who has an opinion on whether or not the SL600 would be a more solid car over the long haul?
Does the V12 deliver the power with less stress on the motor than the V8? Is the SL600 more heavily reinforced in the drive train?
Any one with a mechanical insight care to comment?

He did mention that the V12 would be a little more expensive in service costs although both (at that time) had the same 4yr free maintenance. From the SL55 AMG perspective, I haven't had a single hiccup or disappointment with my vehicle-completely solid.
