Fuel tank ventilation
Hi,

Does anybody have experience with renewing the active valve for the ventilation of the fuel tank?

when I open my cap from the gas tank, it make a serious noise like it is completely vacuum.

Have you checked the gas cap itself? Some have 1-way check valves that admit air but block gases from escaping.

Thanks for the advice. I bought the car with a replacement cap. I ordered a new one right away!

but I noticed the original one says: ohne luftung

so that’s without ventilation?

do you know which ones have the 1 way ventilation that are suitable?

That would be a ventless cap, but might not be the correct one. If the one you ordered was spec'd as compatible, then vented is likely the correct cap.
