Question for Foxwell Users
Considering either the NT530, NT510 Elite or the NT710. I will need 38 pin support for my W210 as well. Anyone here have any of these for their R230's and what is the feedback/recommendations?

I have a NT530, which is basically an upgraded NT510 Elite, with the MB and BMW software loaded on it.
While it's not a substitute for my full MB STAR setup, it can still do a lot and is good to have in the trunk / glove box.

Foxwell works well but is very slow, perhaps all the hand scanners are equally slow. Look at the Launch Creader for Mercedes as an alternative - it has a better GUI apparently.
Both these units will do 90% of what you are likely to need.

I have the NT520 Pro plus the 38 pin cable that I used on my 97 SL500 - I agree with Tom that it's a bit slow but I've been able to do transmission fault resets and that sort of thing just fine. Cheers Socks
