SL/R230: Help with ABC
You are going to need a MB "Star" or "Xentry" clone system or a good scanner to clear the suspension faults.
I have both the MB Xentry system, setup by the BenzNinja here, and an Otofix IM2 scanner ($2500) which is the unsupported version of the Autel IM608 Pro scanner ($3500).
Both let me calibrate the suspension. Perhaps/hopefully less expensive scanners can also calibrate the suspension. However the Xentry system and BenzNinja's online support is hard to beat.
There are functions to check the level sensors, the shock/plunger values, calibrate the plunger travel and load adjustment. I had trouble with these calibrations, which I will document in a new thread soon.
In my (limited) experience when you have the C1525/1526 codes, the ESP will also show faulty.
Hopefully others have simple solutions to your SAM and OCP errors.

What error messages on the dash prompted the issue?
When did the ESP message arise? If you disconnect the battery you'll usually get it but can clear it by driving the car or turning the wheel lock to lock.
It might be a speed sensor.

OCP fault highly likely to be a broken thermistor in the panel. Read up on https://www.benzworld.org/threads/in...#post-18144033
Easy fix if so.
As always, clear everything out and see what codes come back.

After these all succeed, you should then be able to clear the ESP codes.

No, the plunger sensor are not calibrated individually.
Remember there are also mechanical level sensors on each wheel.
My understanding is that the calibration steps coordinate the values from the level sensors with the values from the plunger sensors. That way the system can detect when something has gone wrong.
After you hit "Start" the car moves on its own with the front going up and down to its max positions and likewise for the rear. The movements appear to me more extreme than a "rodeo".
